Description
Vico Magistretti began his career as an architect after World War II, and in the 1960s he left behind many innovative designs as a designer.
He is one of the designers who laid the foundation of the Italian mid-century period, and his designs such as the Maralunga sofa by Cassina and the Eclisse lamp by Artemide still attract many people today.
This coffee table was released by Artemide in the 1960s and is an item integrally molded using fiber-reinforced plastic. The seamless form is very beautiful, and the lines and angles of the curves are so elegant that it is hard to believe that it is made of resin. The Demetrio 45 stacking table from the same series is in the permanent collection of MoMA museum.
