Description

Timelines is a shimmeringly distressed rendition of Mercator’s 16th century projection of Earth which marks a new step in the evolution of Charlotte Oakley’s distinctively dynamic, nature-inspired style. Framed in cool matt black and gold these images are both ancient and modern. Painted on silver canvas, enhanced by the distressed textures, the untarnished metallic glints highlight a rich, rusted palette.
