With its oddly exaggerated shape, the Achille Floor Lamp is a timeless tribute to 1960s design. Inspired by Italian street lighting of the time, the lamp is far more stylish (and just as functional) than a common street lamp could ever be. This tall lamp stands at over two meters, yet needs no ceiling suspension. The soft curve of its long, stainless steel stalk allows a bright, bulbous head to hang down and focus the light. Giving the Achille Floor Lamp its stability is a solid, heavy marble base. The design allows the lamp to stand in the background and support the scene, without dominating or unnecessarily taking up space.
