Description
An elegant and sculptural vide-poche designed by Sergio Asti in the 1970s, carved from richly veined Rosso Verona marble. The soft, rounded form with a gently sloped interior bowl showcases Astis signature approach to minimalist refinement and material sensuality. Polished to a lustrous finish, the deep red marble features striking white and grey veining, making each piece uniquely expressive.
Originally conceived as a pocket tray or ashtray, this versatile object also functions beautifully as a decorative accent, desk accessory, or jewelry dish. A collectible example of Italian modernist design from one of the leading figures of the era.
Excellent vintage condition. Natural variations in the stone and light wear consistent with age.
